CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
A man was arrested after a neighbor called 911 to report seeing someone leaving a nearby home carrying a flat-screen TV, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
Officers were dispatched to a home on Ridge Valley Drive around 11 a.m. on March 7, after the witness reported the break-in. They said they found the suspect, 33-year-old Frederick Hood, a short time later on Westridge Drive. The witness was brought to the scene and identified him as the person involved in the break-in, according to investigators.
Police said Hood was arrested and charged with breaking and entering and larceny.
