ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. —

Burglars stole more than $4,000 in jewelry and clothes from a Rowan County family’s home.

Police said the break-in happened when the family was burying their 1-year-old.

Parker Munn accidentally drowned in a neighbor’s fountain on Rockwood Drive.

Deputies said between Sept. 14 and Sept. 16, burglars broke into the Munns' home.

The robbers took a Bible from Parker’s bedroom, police said.
