GASTONIA, N.C. —
A Gastonia woman is in jail after police said she threatened to blow up the county police department.Officers arrested Armanda Barnes in the lobby Sunday morning with a gas can and a lighter in her possession.The arrest warrant said she told an officer she wanted to kill them because she was a veteran.Just an hour before her arrest, she was walking around the police department’s parking lot.Officers checked on her, but since she hadn’t done anything wrong at the time, they let her go.
