ROCK HILL, S.C. —
Rock Hill police said they arrested a man who was selling crack cocaine out of a baby stroller while his infant son was inside late Monday.The Herald of Rock Hill reports an officer patrolling State Street, which runs into a park, saw Charles Rhinehart, 38, standing in front of a house at about 9 p.m.The Herald reports the officer had received a tip that Rhinehart was using a stroller to store and sell crack cocaine and that he had a gun.The officer arrested Rhinehart and searched the stroller. Police said he found a crack cocaine rock wrapped in brown paper under a cell phone on top of the stroller push bar.Police said they also found freshly crushed crack cocaine rocks on the ground.Officers said Rhinehart’s infant son was in the stroller at the time of the arrest. The baby was given to his mother.Rhinehart is charged with possession of crack. He’s being held on $6,000 bond.
