ROCK HILL, S.C. —
Despite surveillance video, Rock Hill police are still desperate to catch a robber who killed a clerk at a popular truck stop on South Anderson Road three years ago.
Police said they've received no tips to catch the man in the surveillance video.
The video shows a man point a gun at Ma-Leck Sa-Lehm's face. Sa-Lehm held up his hand in defense. Video from another surveillance camera captured the robber walking into the Pride Truck Stop, disguised by only a winter hat and a jacket.
His face wasn't covered, but it's difficult to make out his features.
The last clue police have is a picture of two cars in the parking lot. A maroon car is the one police want people to notice because it left right after the shooting.
Police aren't sure if the suspect ran off or jumped into the car.
Sa-Lehm was only 22 years old. He worked the midnight shift at the truck stop to support his wife and child who lived in Yemen.
