Police trying to identify suspect in series of robberies

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Police are asking for help in identifying a suspect in a series of armed robberies.

He’s wanted in robberies at three convenience stores and a McDonald’s restaurant, according to police. Investigators said in each robbery, the suspect demanded money from the clerks while armed with a handgun.

Police said the suspect is described as a white man who is between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall with a thin build and blond hair. He is believed to be between 28 and 50 years old and may be operating a black four-door Lincoln Town car, officers said.

Anyone with information about the man is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
