CONOVER, N.C. —
One woman is facing charges after police said she robbed half a dozen pharmacies in three counties.Officers finally tracked down Lorrie Griffin after a robbery at a CVS in Conover Monday night.In each case, investigators said Griffin passed a note claiming she was armed and demanded oxycodone.Officers said a partial license plate number helped track her down.They also spotted her getting out of a truck at her home in Denver.Officers found pills and a BB gun inside.They said they think Griffin may have been selling the pills.Griffin’s 19-year-old daughter, Chandra, is also charged with drug possession.
