A woman wanted in connection with a break-in and theft at the East Lincoln Christian Ministries on Catawba Burris Road in Denver was arrested Thursday morning.
Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Detective Mark Stamey arrested Sarah Elizabeth Leatherman, 44, of the 3900 block of East Maiden Road, Maiden, around 10 a.m. in the 7700 block of Skyline Drive, Sherrills Ford, without incident.
Stamey said Leatherman is accused of breaking into East Lincoln Christian Ministries, a nonprofit Christian outreach, around 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 30. Property valued at $1,000 was stolen.
Investigators said the burglar returned to the store around 6:30 a.m. and took another $150 worth of clothing.
Leatherman is charged with two felony counts of breaking and entering and two felony counts of larceny after breaking and entering. She was placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $3,500 secured bond.
