CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
Prosecutors said Thursday they will seek the death penalty for the man accused of killing a pregnant woman during a restaurant robbery.
Mark Cox, 22, is accused of killing 25-year-old Danielle Watson in January. Watson was two months pregnant.
Her body was found outside of the Flying Biscuit Cafe in Ballantyne, where she worked as a manager.
Investigators said Cox killed Watson during a robbery at the restaurant. He also worked there.
Cox was later arrested in Fayetteville.
