CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
The Democratic National Convention announced it will allow people to sign up for a chance to get tickets to President Barack Obama’s speech at the end of the convention.
That speech will be at Bank of America Stadium on Thursday, September 6.
The President will officially accept the party’s nomination for the 2012 race.
Vice President Joe Biden is also expected to speak that night.
Convention organizers had been allowing volunteers to sign up for tickets to see them.
Thursday is the first time the general public was allowed to register.
Delegates to the DNC and VIPs already had tickets.
