CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
Emergency crews rescued a man from a construction site in southeast Charlotte Thursday.Rescuers were called to Donnegal Farm Road near Matthews for a fall. Officials said the man fell about six feet.It appeared the worker fell at the construction site of a new home.Chopper 9 flew over the scene where firefighters lowered a stretcher into a portion of the foundation. Firefighters used a ladder truck to lift the worker out.Rescuers lifted the worker out and loaded them into a waiting ambulance.
