Reward offered for info about twins who haven’t been seen in months
ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. —
Sheriff’s deputies in Alexander County are offering a reward for information on twin 12-year-old girls who haven't been seen for months.
Investigators said Cindy and Mindy King were last seen with their aunt, Daris James, in November at a Walmart in Wilkes County.
The Alexander County Department of Social Services has legal custody of the children but hasn't been able to locate them. Sheriff’s deputies said they have two warrants for James for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
“We hope that you will bring the children to the Department of Social Services or contact the sheriff’s office,” said DSS Director Cindi Holman. “We certainly hope you do that after seeing this."
Alexander County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 in the case. The number is 828-632-8555.
