CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
Dozens of runners braved the chill Saturday morning in southeast Charlotte to raise domestic violence awareness. The Charlotte Run for Peace at Home has been raising money for local programs for almost 20 years. All of the profits are going to Charlotte's shelter for battered women. The National Resource Center on Domestic Violence said one in four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime.
