CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Officers have arrested another man in the killing of an east Charlotte restaurant employee in January.

Charlotte Mecklenburg police arrested Kendrick Tabb, 23.

Police said Tabb is one of two men that shot and killed Edward Rosen after robbing the Fast Wok Chinese restaurant.

Last month, police arrested Briley Belk, 31, for the same crime.

Family members told Channel 9 Rosen wasn't working his dream job, but he had no choice.

After being laid off from a job selling T-shirts at NASCAR races, Rosen started working long hours at the restaurant on East W. T. Harris Boulevard to make ends meet.

"He'd hit a rough patch," said his father, Irving Rosen.

Edward's parents both live in Florida. They told Channel 9 their son had no family in the Charlotte area but that he had moved here and seemed content working his job selling shirts at NASCAR races.

Prior to moving to Charlotte, Rosen served six years with the Navy.
