Some owners say selling alcohol on Sunday's isn't giving sales a boost

YORK, S.C. —

Some York County convenience store owners said selling beer and wine on Sundays has not given them the sales boost that they expected.

In November, voters approved Sunday sales in the county.

Now, business owners said the loss of Saturday sales if off-setting the new Sunday sales, according to the Herald in Rock Hill.

So far, about half of the convenience and grocery stores in the county have gotten seven-day sales permits from the state.
