CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
A busy uptown Charlotte street will shut down for several weeks on Wednesday.
The city is closing South Mint Street between West Third Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at 9 a.m.
Crews will install storm drains under the road for the new Charlotte Knights Stadium being built in uptown.
The road should reopen by the end of the month.
