ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. —
A sponsor of a North Carolina religion resolution has apologized. The proposal declared the state can make its own laws about religion without involvement from the federal government. Now, Rowan County Rep. Harry Warren said it was poorly written. He apologized for any embarrassment to his community. Warren said he only intended to allow officials to continue opening meetings with prayer.
