CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
The weather is still on track to warm up significantly over the next few days.
Rain chances still look meager at best as the majority of the area will be dry.
It does appear the cold front will remain north of Charlotte, so that is where the best shot of rain will be.
Temperatures bounce up nearly 35 degrees from Friday morning to Friday afternoon, where 66 degrees is expected.
The temperatures this weekend will be in the 70s, but some more clouds may be visible.
More rain is likely for the area by Monday afternoon as temperatures fall back into the 60s.
