One person died after an early morning accident on the Interstate 77 ramp of the inner loop at 485.

A woman died late Wednesday morning. She and her fiancé, who was driving, were in a tractor-trailer when it hit a guard rail and flipped off the on ramp, officials said.

Troopers said the driver was going too fast around the turn.

Both people were airlifted to the hospital.

The truck was hauling rolls of paper.

This is the second accident involving a tractor-trailer at the same interchange in the last two and a half months.

The previous accident also involved a truck hauling rolls of printer paper. Both the driver and his company were cited in that accident.

The driver was cited for going too fast.  His company was fined for not having the load properly secured.
