South Carolina saw another increase in the number of traffic deaths in 2012.
Highway patrol said 833 people died on the state’s highways and roads, compared 827 last year.
That number is still far below the 1,052 killed in 2007.
Troopers said 58 percent of the people killed in vehicles were not wearing seat belts.
