New search warrants give details about the investigation into a 6-month-old baby's death.
Police executed a search warrant on Todd Boderick and Krishay Mouzon's jail cells.
The two face murder charges in their 6-month-old child's death from October 2012 after a medical examiner found the baby died from massive head trauma. The medical examiner said she sustained fractures on both sides of her skull and had multiple rib fractures. The warrant also states the baby had previous rib fractures that were still healing at the time of death.
The warrants reveal investigators found mail that shows the parents are sending letters to each other through a third party, referred to by the name “Monet.”
Detectives believe that the letters contain information about the events leading up to the child's death.
The warrants also show Mouzon made a call in June to her mother.
During the call, Mouzon's mother told her that she talked to Boderick and Boderick stated that if "Mouzon and Boderick stuck together, they would both come through this OK."
