The U.S. National Whitewater Center is hosting a “Color Me Green” race on St. Patrick’s Day.
The 5K trail race will have a twist: Each participant is required to wear a white T-shirt to avoid being bombarded with green dye during the race. Awards will be given to those with both the cleanest and the greenest shirt.
The race, which weaves through the trails of the Whitewater Center, kicks off at 9 a.m. on March 16. Registration is $27 through March 13 and $37 on race day.
Awards will be given to the top three finishers in several categories. For more information, click here.
The center’s annual Green River Revival will be held post-race.
