Woman accused of tampering with baby's IV out of jail

CHARLOTTE, N.C —

A woman accused of tampering with her baby’s IV is out of jail.

Ladonna Parlier is accused of drawing blood from her 5-month-old daughter, Naomi, five times while she was in the hospital.

Parlier is now staying with a family member in Buncombe County.

Officials said she must wear a monitoring bracelet and any contact with her other four children with be supervised.

Parlier’s attorney said Parlier was dealing with postpartum depression.

Parlier’s children are in the custody of their father.
