CHESTER, S.C. —
They raided a place on Saluda Street and found a man running an illegal tattoo parlor. But they also found much more than needles and ink.
Agents found 600 pictures and videos, some of which are obscene, that showed clients of the place getting tattoos and piercings on their private areas.
Deputies arrested 41-year-old Robert Dover and charged him with running an unlicensed tattoo parlor and resisting arrest.
Sheriff Robby Benson says there's a lot more to do on the case.
"It's a health issue. It's illegal, that's our concern with it, and if there are other activities like that we need to get involved with it, because we don't know what else he's been doing either,” Benson said.
Detectives are now looking through all those pictures. They think some of the clients are underage, which would lead to more charges against Dover.
He is currently out of jail on bond.
