Man Runs In Honor Of His Brother

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Mark Weaver ran in the Thunder Road Marathon on Saturday as a tribute to his brother who was killed in October of this year when his bicycle collided with a CATS bus.

Todd Weaver died in front of the "CATS" maintenance shop on South Tryon Street. He was a passionate athlete and bicyclist.

The marathon route takes runners from Uptown Charlotte, to Southpark and back.

It started on Tryon Street Saturday morning.
