Man Shot Overnight Because He Didn't Understand His Attacker

 

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Police are investigating a shooting that happened during a robbery attempt overnight in South Charlotte.

The robber approached the victim on Saint Vardell Lane off Clanton Road at about one o'clock this morning.

He shot the victim in the leg and hit him in the head because he couldn't understand english.

MEDIC took the victim to Carolinas Medical Center.

Police say his injuries are not life-threatening.

Interpreters were brought to the hospital to help police understand what had happened.
