Meth Lab Discovered In Burke County

MORGANTON, N.C. —

A search for a man accused of violating his probation turned up something else at a home near Morganton.

Federal probation and Burke County Narcotics officers raided a home on Baker Street on Monday morning.

Deputies say in the basement they found all the components for a methamphetamine lab.

Robert and Rhonda Ross, the couple who lived at the house, face several charges, including maintaining a place to keep controlled substances.

This is the first meth lab found this year in Burke County.
