ROCK HILL, S.C. —
Paula DiMarzio told Rock Hill detectives she had been talking to the Lord, and He told her that her journey was over Monday afternoon.
Detectives said DiMarzio was slightly dehydrated when she was located, but otherwise she was in good health.
DiMario's family had been extremely worried for her. "I think we're all about to throw up. This is so bad," said her son Andrew before she was located.
Family members set up a MySpace page to publicize the search for DiMarzio, 44. They said she was last seen at the family’s home in the Red River Road area around 7 a.m. Friday when her husband and sons left for work. When they returned home at about 7 p.m., her walking shoes and headphones were gone but all her other personal belongings, including her cell phone, were still at the home.
On Saturday, sheriff’s deputies, K-9 units, family and friends searched the area and River Park, but did not find any trace of the woman. A police helicopter went up Sunday to search from the air but still did not find anything.
DiMarzio walked out of the woods Monday evening, and her family tells us they are relieved and grateful to have her home.
