Mother Of Missing Fayetteville Girl Charged With Human Trafficking
FAYETTEVILE, N.C. —
Fayetteville police have charged Antoinette Davis, the mother of missing 5-year-old Shaniya Davis, with human trafficking.
Davis has also been charged with child abuse and filing a false police report. Officials did not say if these charges were related to Shaniya’s disappearance.
Investigators said Mario McNeill admitted to kidnapping the girl Tuesday.
His attorney said McNeill will plead not guilty to the charge.
Shaniya Davis, 5, has been missing since Tuesday.
