Murder Suspect Brought Back To N.C. To Face Charges

 

CATAWBA CO., N.C. —

The man accused of killing Travis Baker in 2007 is in the Catawba County jail.

John Mitchel's was arrested in Florida this week, after 19-year-old Baker’s body was found on a plot of land near the town of Catawba.

On Saturday, Mitchel was brought from Florida up to North Carolina to face the murder charge.

Mitchel is accused of shooting Baker to death in 2007 after a fight at Mitchel’s home.

Mitchel is expected in court on Monday.
