One Charged In Uptown Robbery

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Police arrested a robbery suspect in west Charlotte after an attack uptown.

Two robbers went after a man walking away from the EpiCentre on South Tryon Street before midnight Wednesday. The man said they called him over to their car, pulled him in and then robbed him.

The robbers drove away, but the victim got the last four numbers of their license plate.

Police said they found the car at the Forestbrook Apartments near Tuckaseegee Road a short time later. They arrested the driver, but the second suspect is still on the loose.
