Overnight Wreck Closes Part Of Charlotte Road
CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
The accident happened at about one o'clock this morning on Central Avenue.
The driver hit a utility poll which knocked down power lines.
MEDIC took the driver to Carolinas Medical Center, that person was not seriously hurt.
The wreck shut down Central Avenue between Sharon Amity and Rosehaven Drive.
Duke Power crews worked throughout the morning to restore power to about 2,100 customers.
