Pedestrian Hit, Killed On I-85

A driver hit and killed a man who was walking along Interstate 85 early Monday morning, troopers said.

The crash happened just after midnight. Investigators then shut down three of the interstate’s four lanes near the North Graham Street exit.

Troopers said the victim, whose name has not been released, was crossing from the northbound side of the interstate to the southbound side and was near the median when he was hit.
