Police Investigate North Charlotte Shooting

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Police are still investigating an early-morning shooting in north Charlotte.

Officers said it happened at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday on North Tryon and 26th streets.

Details are very limited, but police said the victim was shot once in the stomach and suffered potentially life-threatening injuries. Officers said there is a language barrier, so they are having difficulties getting more information from the victim.
