Police Looking For Truck They Say Crashed Into Business

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Police are looking for a pickup truck they said crashed in a business in west Mecklenburg County.

They said the truck crashed into the Shake Shack on Wilkinson Boulevard just before 11 p.m. Thursday.

Officers said the two men inside the truck got out, stole the change drawer with about $20 in it and ripped a TV right off the wall. Then they drove away.

The owners of the Shake Shack told Channel 9 they didn’t expect as much damage as they found.

Police are looking for a 1990’s white Chevy box-style pickup truck with a black ladder rack and rear damage. Call police if you see it.
