Police: Salesperson Assaulted While Showing Home

 

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Police are investigating after a real estate sales representative said she was sexually assaulted Monday morning in north Charlotte.

Police said the woman was showing a home to a man around 11:15 a.m. on Briar Rose Court, which is a new part of the Highland Park neighborhood, when she was attacked.

Police say the man grabbed an item that was inside the house and threatened the woman.

The woman was taken to a hospital.

Police are looking for a black man between 20 and 30 years old.

The man stands close to 6 feet tall, has a medium build and was wearing a white shirt with a tie and dark pants.
