Police Say Car Involved In Crash Was Stolen

 

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Police said the car that crashed and shut down a North Charlotte road was stolen.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said in a report released on Sunday that the car crashed on Oakdale Road Saturday morning, was stolen.

Investigators said only one car was involved in the crash along Oakdale Road. The crash happened around 4:30 a.m.

Police were looking for the driver of the vehicle and said they were trying to figure out who owns the car.

CMPD officers were still investigating.
