Police Search For Suspects Who Tied Up And Robbed A Grandmother

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Police searched for three men who tied up a grandmother and her grandson in their North Charlotte home Sunday night through Monday, police said.

Officers say the incident happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

The woman and her grandson were held at gunpoint on Capps Hill Mine Road, near Beatties Ford Road, but were not hurt.

The suspects stole a flat screen television, clothes, jewelry, purses and money from the home, according to police.

Two of the suspects ran off while the other drove away in the victim's rental car.

The car is a blue-green Dodge Caliber with a North Carolina license plate reading XXV-9869.

The rental car's front bumper and driver side window is damaged from an earlier accident.

Anyone with information should call police.
