Pool Drowning Investigation Continues

Police want to know how a man drowned Sunday afternoon in a backyard pool. Deputies with the York County Sheriff's Office were called to a home on Woodway Lane at 1:45 p.m. Officials tell our newspaper partner the Rock Hill Herald that a 47 year old man drowned in a 8 ft. deep inground pool. They are not releasing the man's identification, but say that he was visiting the residence. Investigators are now gathering details surrounding the circumstances of the drowning.
