CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. —
Surveys sent to four Cleveland County post offices could lead to a reduction in hours or the offices potentially closing as the U.S. Postal Service tries to cut costs.
Box holders at Casar, Lattimore, Polkville and Waco Post Office's recently received surveys that included questions about reducing hours and offering rural delivery routes.
Once surveys are collected, public meetings will be held at each location in October, where residents will learn about the post office's future.
