A new ride at Carowinds will be dedicated to a NASCAR legend.

Will You Race Out To Ride "The Intimidator"?
Will you race out to ride "The Intimidator"?
Yes, I can't wait!
Yes, but only because it's for No. 3
No, I don't care for roller coasters or Earnhardt.
The ride, 23 stories tall with speeds of up to 80 mph, is expected to open in spring of 2010.
It will be the longest, tallest and fastest roller coaster in the Southeast.
Earnhardt died in a crash at the Daytona 500 in 2001.
