CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
Rielle Hunter was in an uptown Charlotte law office Friday to give a deposition on an alleged sex tape of her and John Edwards.
The deposition is part of an ongoing legal dispute between Hunter and Andrew Young, John Edwards’ former aide, over the tape.
Hunter is suing Young and his wife for all copies of the video.
Hunter said the video is her property, but Young maintains that she lost her rights to it. He and his wife said they found the tape in their house after Hunter moved out.
Hunter is also suing for photos from a laptop and a computer file.
The tape’s existence came to light after Young wrote a book, titled "The Politician," recounting his years working with Edwards.
A judge has ordered Hunter's deposition to remain sealed for 45 days.
Young’s attorneys have questioned the need for secrecy in the case and have referenced interviews Hunter has given to Oprah Winfrey and GQ magazine.
