Robber Threatens Boger City Teller With Note Saying He Has A Bomb

LINCOLNTON, N.C. —

Lincolnton police say a bank robber handed a note to a teller that said, "We all die, we all get blown up".

They are looking for that man, who they say walked into the First Charter Bank in Boger City on Saturday morning. Detectives say the hold-up note threatened to blow up the bank.

Officers said the man was calm and in surveillance pictures. You can see other unknowing customers standing feet away.

Police believe the robber timed the hold-up to strike during the Apple Festival, the largest city sponsored event in Lincolnton. Many officers were on the other side of town working traffic and monitoring crowds of up to 50,000 people.
