Robbery Suspect Shot, Killed By Victim

Police in Gastonia said a robbery victim shot and killed one of his attackers overnight.

Investigators said Adrian Perkins, 18, was shot once at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the BB&T Bank on West Franklin Boulevard.

Officers believe Perkins and another man were trying to rob someone at the ATM, but that person shot back and killed Perkins.

Police are still investigating and have not released any information about the second robber.
