Detectives trying to piece together clues in a pawn shop worker’s killing released a suspect sketch Tuesday afternoon.
Police were at the shop Tuesday trying to figure out exactly what is missing.
Officers were also going through back yards where a man who looks like the person in the sketch was seen about the time of the homicide.
Tony Myers, 65, who worked at Granite Gun and Pawn, was found dead in the shop Monday.
J.R. Collins owns a tire store across the street from the pawn shop, and knew Myers well.
“He’d give you the shirt off the back if you just asked. That’s the type of person he was,” Collins said.
The man in the sketch is described as a young white male with dark hair and a speech impediment.
Neighboring businesses have already begun putting up the sketch.
