South Carolina Man Sentenced To Life In Prison

A South Carolina man has been sentenced to life in prison for killing a man for $7.

Prosecutors said, Willie Pelzer, 23, shot and killed a New York truck driver back in March, who had pulled off the highway to rest.

Pelzer ambushed the victim off Highway 26, south of Columbia, S.C.

Investigators believe Pelzer had been looking for money to spend on drugs.

The victim only had $7 on him when he was killed.
