Students protest tuition increase

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. —

Students in the UNC college system, including UNC Chapel Hill and Greensboro, are organizing a march to protest against the college tuition hikes.

The UNC system plans to raise tuition and fees by approximately $470 next year.

One of the students, a Charlotte native, is organizing a bus caravan to head to Chapel Hill on Friday for a protest before the board of trustees' vote on the tuition increase.
