CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
A new study out Tuesday questions if your student is being challenged enough in the classroom.
The Center for American Progress found 37 percent of fourth graders said math work was too easy.
The same study showed 57 percent of eighth graders felt the same way about history work.
The center says new common core standards could make the difference.
North Carolina is one of 45 states that have already adopted those standards.
