CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
The teacher was suspended with pay while a school law enforcement officer Detective Perry investigates the incident.
The mother transported her son to the hospital because her son was complaining of pain to his left elbow.
Test results revealed that the student's left elbow was fractured.
The special education teacher was trained to restraint, which means he was taught to hold a kid down without hurting him.
