Teen Claims Rape At West Charlotte High School

Police say, last Friday, in the middle of the school day, a 15-year-old was sexually assaulted in the bathroom. The girl was leaving the stall when, police say, a male and female shoved her back in and raped her.

According to the police report, the suspects punched the victim when she refused to let them have sex with her.

Academy Tenth Grader Jasmine McClure said she would think twice before going into the girls’ bathroom again.

Teen Raped In High School Bathroom “I probably won’t use them as much or go to the bathroom by myself,” she said.

The police report wasn’t filed until late Wednesday afternoon, but the assault happened last Friday. Police say they are still in the preliminary stages of the investigation.

At this point, police can’t say if it was two students that sexually assaulted the girl or if it was two people that should never have been at the school.
